Gangs have developed their own spoken language or terminology. Depending on which gang you are dealing with the language will vary. Members find many ways to say the same thing. The vocabulary can be extensive and confusing. We must understand that this terminology, like all terminology, is a dynamic and evolving part of the language.This essay will help us understand the reasons behind gang related crime. To discuss the causes of gang related crime we will look at two criminology theories.
